6th grade:
Alex .m and hank .w did a pretty good job on the PowerPoint, it was easy to understand and I thought it was well organized. I didn’t see the graphics but the questions seemed interesting and made me want to try to answer a couple of them. I think the power point was good and didn’t really need to be changed. They followed the rubric and did a good job on the formula slide.

Who are you talking about?
• State the initials and grade level of the authors.
- AM and HW. 6th grade
What do you think of the content?
• How was the quality of the math?
- The quality of the math was very good. It was explained very well.
• Was it easy to understand?
-The power point was really easy to understand. They had bright colors and everything stood out so it was readable.
Did it grab your attention?
• What did you think of the graphics?
- They only had two graphics but it was kind of helpful to us. It showed a picture of the diameter and the radius.
• Did it make you want to do math (or at least try it out)?
- Yes, the power point made us want to try math. They should us step by step procedures so was easy to understand on how to do the problem.
What suggestions do you have?
• What suggestions would you give to the authors?
- They should put more graphics in their power point. They could’ve put more real life examples in the power point. They could’ve put why the bibliographies were helpful to them. They also could’ve put better example problems.
• What was the best part of the site?
- They did a good job on the vocabulary words. They also did a good job on how the radius, diameter and circumference relate to each other.
• What part of the site needed improvement?
- They need improvement on pictures and explaining how to do the problems. We think they also need improvement on why it’s important to know.
What about the rubric?
• Did they follow the rubric?
- Yes, they did follow the rubric. They had mostly everything required on the rubric.
• What section did they do the best on?
They did best on the vocabulary words. They also did a good job on explaining how everything relates together.
• What section did they need to improve on?
- They need improvement on pictures and explaining how to do the problems. We think they also need improvement on why it’s important to know.
What grade would you give you site?
• A – B – C – D – F (and why)?
- We would give them an A- because they could’ve put more effort into it. They probably could’ve added a few more things. They could’ve added more graphics to understand the problems they worked out.

6th grade: HW and AM power point was good in term of accuracy but there explanations were a little confusion. They were using terminology that someone who was an expert would understand but not a person who was learning. Great accuracy and detail but the terminology was a little much.
1.) I think the content of this math was exceptionally great, especially the ‘How To’s’. They were written in an easy way to understand. It all went very smoothly together.
2.) I thought the graphics were pretty good. At times the menu was hard to read and the graphics were a bit distracting. It was sometimes a bit hard to focus on doing the math and the setup of it was hard to read and understand. I also would have enjoyed it more if everything was a bit more interactive.
3.) My suggestions I have for the authors are for to make the website a bit more interactive, the menu’s a bit clearer and easy to see, and for the background to be a little less distracting. Also for the test and practice to be clearer to understand. But they did do a good job on Vocabulary and How To’s. Those were my favorite parts of the website since they flowed the best.
4.) I would give their website a B+++. The reason why is because at times the menu was hard to read and because the practice and test questions were confusing.
TD
The authors of the project I evaluated are WO and JD. Their quality math is very good however, some of their drawings are hard to read. Their content was very easy to read and understand. The graphinc were very good. I loved all of the graphics because they were very fun. Because of such graphics, I wanted to learn the math. The only thing I would have changed is to make some of the fonts a different color so they could be easily read. The best part of their site was the test because the graphics made it fun. This site followed the rubric perfectly. They did best on the assessment part of the rubric.
C.D.
6th grade: E.W. and M.B. website was really good the backgrounds were sort of distracting though. Their how to was easy step by step instruction that was very easy to follow, and that made the test and practice easier than it looked.
RT
6th grade: This project was by WO and JD. Their project was amazing they had a lesson that was really accurate and the whole website was really good. This website grabbed my attention because the computer animations were hilarious and it made me want to do the math. The best part of the website was the animations they were funny and it made me never want to leave the website. I give this job well done website an A.

7th Grade: This power point was by a 7th grader named Steven R. I think the content was good they almost had all the requirements except for the bibliography. They were detailed with their explanation and they had a good lesson. It didn’t really grab my attention because the background was the same and they just got down to the topic they didn’t really put anything interesting on it. I suggest next time they make it more fun so the people are not bored and actually want to do the math. They did follow the rubric except that they did not make a bibliography. I give this project a B because they did not make a bibliography.
RT
8th grade: This power point was made by 8th graders named Aris.S and Sara. A. The content was good they had everything they needed to make a great project. This didn’t really grab my attention the background kept switching and I thought it was distracting but it was pretty interesting and I wanted to do the math. The best part was the lesson because it was interesting. They did follow the rubric really well and I give this project an A.

Name: J D., and W O. 6th grade Honors.
I think it was kind of easy to understand. The problem was that the font was tiny. You can barely see the words unless you look really close. They need to make the font bigger.
The math in the website was actually pretty good. If I was the one who was going to see this next year, I’d say that there’s were great.
Also the graphics were amazing. I liked the comic that went with it to. I think that there project is going to be the best for the new students. I would really want to do math after seeing there project. I like the way they did that and I’d tell them to keep it up. I think the totally followed the rubric
A.W. 6th Grade:
1. WO, JD and they are in 6th Grade
2. The quality of the math was very good. Even though it was explained in about 5 pages, it was still good. They also used very good websites, or books, to explain how to use coordinate graphs.
3. The information was very easy to understand because they used only one very informational sentence in all the pages. They explained everything you needed to know about coordinate graphs.
4. I thought that the graphics were very good because it grabs my attention. The graphics have a lot of moving objects in it that really makes me go through the website.
5. These graphics really makes me go through the math. This is because on each page there is at least one funny or moving object in that page.
6. My suggestions to them are that they should add more information on their topic. They only had at least 10 how tos on their topic, coordinate graphs.
7. The best part of this site was the practice questions because it really got my interest and made me answer the questions. Also, they gave me the right answer to the questions and that really made me very happy!
8. The part of the website needed improvement on is that they needed more information on their how tos.
9. They followed the rubric nicely but they forgot the Arizona state standard.
10. They did the best on their assessment because all there questions were very clear.
11. They needed work on their practice question because they don’t have five. They only have three.
12. I would give them a B because they forgot a couple of things but other than that they did a great job!!

8th grade honors: These 8th grade honors made a website by Alper M. and Cristian C. The content was good they made it easy to follow so you could understand what they were trying to teach. This website did grab my attention because the lesson was interesting and it made me want to do the problems. I suggest next time they make it easier to switch the pages it took me a few minutes to figure out what I had to do to switch the pages. They followed the rubric and did everything they were supposed to do and I give this project an A.

1.) I think the content of the website is very beautifully written. Even though I didn’t get half the stuff they were talking about, I found that the writing of it had a lot of thought and the whole thing went over smoothly and it was easy to understand the text.
2.) The graphics of this webpage very so much caught my attention and held on to my attention. Also all the text was very easy to read. Also the text made me want to do math very much so, but I was sadly only half- way here and half – way day dreaming.
3.) My suggestions are do nothing. Your website is absolutely fabulous as it already is. You guys did a great job and keep up the good work. Your website is probably the best I’ve seen so far.
4.) They did follow the rubric very well in my opinion. Now according to the rubric since I’m now using that, they followed it very well and in many sections I would give them extra credit since the website is so beautifully articulated.
5.) I would give them an A++. It was so amazingly written, as I have said many times before. Also because of the setup. It leads through step-by-step.

2. I think that the content was great! It was very educational, yet entertaining. The info was easy to understand, but could have been simpler.
3. The graphics were good, and made it much more interesting to watch. I think it did make you want to try it out it kept you very interested.
4. My suggestions would be to have less vibrant backgrounds. Although it kept you interested, it was a little bit distracting. I liked that you had a lot of examples.
5. They followed the rubric pretty well. They did the best on presentation. I don’t think they needed to work on anything.
6. A. They covered everything they needed to, but kept it interesting.

Author: T.D. and B.V.
The quality of their math was very well done. They described there topic well. I understood all the steps that where given to me. The title grabbed my attention very fast, because it was well decorated and made me want to see what the power point was about. It kind of did make me want to learn how to do it if I didn’t know how to graph coordinates. I would suggest that next time you should put more images in the PowerPoint. What I liked the most was how they described the processes it takes to graph coordinate points. I think you guys should work on checking your spelling. I would give this PowerPoint a high “B”.
Author: A.M. and H.W.
The quality of their math was poor. There topic wasn’t that easy to understand and they didn’t completely finish. They really didn’t show that much graphics. It didn’t really grab my attention because it was plain. I would suggest that they put more effort on to there project. I thought the part of their PowerPoint that was alright was their explanation. I think that they should work on improving most there creativity and make it longer.
I personally think that they really didn’t follow the rubric instructions. I would probably give them a “D”.

Who are you talking about?
The 6th graders named Tyler D. and Blaine V.
What do you think of the content?
In this power point they created, they gave out a lot of information for us to understand what graphing points are, even if we do know what it is, or don’t.
Did it grab your attention?
This power point did grab my attention because it was clearer to understand, and that it had information that we needed to know how to do.
How was the quality of the math?
Was it easy to understand?
The math on here was showing a lot of information that people can understand. A lot of students don’t know how to do this graph points, but now that they have examples of math on here, they can Easley understand what to do.
What did you think of the graphics?
I think that the graphics on here we’re very clear to understand and that when we looked at it, we noticed it had directions on what to do, but it barley showed us how to graph them in the right spots.
Did it make you want to do math (or at least try it out)?
Actually when I looked at the problems, it was easy to me to do it, because I know how to do it. And that we wanted to try them out ourselves.
What suggestions do you have?
What suggestions would you give to the authors?
What was the best part of the site?
What part of the site needed improvement?
My suggestions to this that the best part of this power point is the information and the graphics they put for the power point. I don’t think that they needed to add anything because I can understand what they were saying and what they put in the power point.
What about the rubric?
Did they follow the rubric?
What section did they do the best on?
What section did they need to improve on?
I think they followed this rubric. It all makes since. The reason why I think that this power point followed the rubric because it understands, and it’s a power point that you can follow when you need help on, or when you just need to do examples or anything like that. To me I think that they did well on it, they have a lot of information and a lot of slides that is all about their topic. From my view on this power point, I really think that they needed improvement in it. But also not the point, I just think that they need to be specific on the examples, so students won’t get confused on it.
What grade would you give you site?
• A – B – C – D – F (and why)?
I think they deserve an A, because it seems like they worked hard on it. They put a lot of improvement in this power point. They done examples, pictures, and a lot of information for everybody to know what they are doing in this power point. So that is my reason why I think they deserve this A.

2.) The math was accurate. It was very easy to understand.
3.) The graphics were super funny!!! It made me want to look at the math on the website.
4.) I would suggest getting rid of the scary flying rocket ship babies.. They scare me. I like the pictures on this website. The part of the site that needed improvement was the problems.
5.) They did follow the rubric. They did the best part on making the math enjoyable. The section they need to improve on was the test was not very neat and a little confusing.
6.) I would give this site an A because they made the math very clear and fun. I really like their cartoon.

6th grade honors
1) I thought the quality of math was great. They did an excellent job at explaining how to enlarge a figure and find the scale factor of two figures.
2) The graphics were great! The site had great backgrounds with blasts of color and pictures! The excitement made me want to learn more about the topic.
3) I suggest that the authors fix the menu because at times it was hard to read because of the background. The best part of the site was the “How To” because it had great explanations, and was easy to follow. The part of the site that needed improvement was the vocabulary because there is more vocabulary to scale factors than enlarging.
4) The authors of this site did follow the rubric very well in my opinion. The section they did the best on was the practice problems. It was very creative. The part they needed improvement on was the vocabulary because there is more vocabulary to know about scale factors than enlarging.
5) I would give them an A- because everything was great except there were some misspellings, and the vocabulary could have been better.

6th grade
• The quality of the math was very high. Everything that they explained was easy to comprehend. The vocabulary helped me understand the concept better and the cartoon and how tos were easy to follow.
• The graphics were helpful and grabbed my attention. They made me want to keep looking through the website.
• I would suggest that they change the menu because on most pages you can’t read it because of the background. My favorite part of the website is the Practice test page. My least favorite part of the website was the assessment page. I barely knew where anything was because of the complicated background and I couldn’t read the menu at all.
• They followed the rubric well and did the best on the how-tos. The cartoon was very helpful. They did worst on correct spelling and punctuation. She had a lot of misspelled words and at some times it was hard to understand what she was trying to say.
• I would give them a B. This is because although the math concepts, vocabulary, and how-tos were exceptional they were hard to make out on top of the complicated backgrounds.

1. JM & JS – Grade 6
2. The quality of the math could’ve been better. Everything was only briefly explained, meaning that nothing went into much depth on the topic.
Though it was a low amount work provided, it was fairly easy to understand.
3. The graphics were pretty cool, but as I read the pages, I began to get dizzy because of all the movement.
The website didn’t make me want to try the math because there was only one approach to the topic. It only gave the dimensions of the square, no other approach to finding the volume of something.
4. The best part of the site was all of the cute little graphics.
The topic could have had more of a better description and could’ve gone into more depth.
5. They somewhat followed the rubric; Once again, the details were only skimmed over. I think that they did the very least on the rubric.
• They did the best on the practice section and assessment section.
• They could’ve improved on most of the lesson part because it was very limited.
What grade would you give you site?
• I would give the website a grade “C” because though the rubric was followed to a certain point, there could have been a lot more detail in everything.
